GJ REPORT: SHAZALAKAZOO HITS MARIBOR

Openning of Magdalena festival, at least the musical part of it, was put in the trustworthy hands of our Balkan brothers, Rambo Amadeus, the world mega tsar, and young & talented Shazalakazoo.

The late hour didn't bother the man and his band, who served the audience with two hours of Rambo style jazzy/hip-hop/full of jokes/standing on the monitor and so much more concert. Beside the old hits, he also introduced some of the material from his new album Hipšizik Metafizik.

Shazalakazoo also did some new material, since we last saw them in Slovenija, and it sounded really good on the big loudspeakers! As the whole live-act as well as the DJ set to follow did. Due to the ban of smoking inside and the long wait for the soundman to connect their musical toys, they starded the show in front of an empty hall, but soon the sounds of Balkan breakz lured people back in. And when you're once in, there's no way out of the dance frenzy Shazalakazoo provide.
