WEDNESDAY IS DAY FOR AFRICAN MUSIC

Let DJ Jazzva take you on a trip to Africa and show you the cultural and lingual differences and similarities of African continent. Jazzva has a lot of Western African music in his collection; so we will listen to a lot of music coming from Senegal and Niger. But that is not all... Somalia, Sudan and Chad will also be presented, as well as Egyptian and Algerian music.
You will hear mbalaxa from Senegal, coladier of the Kap verdes, Congolian rumba, and so much more.
Janez Pirc aka Jazzva is a musical critic for the Muska magazine, from 2005 he is also preparing African music specials for Radio Student. He is also a member of African Center society, and is also connected to Africa with his work. In fact, he is just writting his doctoral dissertation on the topic of migration from African countries to European Union. Good luck with that!
