GJ REPORT: BREAK THE FUCKIN' BEAT #7

Already the 7th edition of those great parties breakbeat fans like to visit in Metelkova came to be yesterday evening.
Smooth sort of a housy beginning to the evening was a nice prelude D*Sun performed. The set lit up the atmosphere in the ever so dark Channel 0 and prepared us for the later acts. W.G. (My Hell Jackson) followed with his dose of break beat that the audience longed for. And we got what we came for. W.G. spun those turn tables in ways we couldn't even imagine. Not so crowded Ch0 looked like a really decent party place with raving dancers all around.
The evening continued with performances from friendly group Code EP's Bakto which seemed like a nice change in performer line-up. But many may argue that his set wasn't the expected continuation of break beat genre that was noted in preceding performance.
Anyhow I was all in all very satisfied with the portion of Friday night's party that probably continued for a long time still after your reporter here had to depart not filling very himself anymore (sorry Dado I can't say much about your set). At the time he last looked up towards the stage to marvel upon the handiwork of young DJs the place was still inviting new people in and promising a long sleep on the next day.
For anyone who would like to hear a few parts of last night's party there are, like always, some recordings our »sound-in-taker« Gvido made. Enjoy!
