Yesterday, London Bridge was a spot of a Stranger than Paradise X-Mas party. When we talk about Stranger than paradise we have in mind monthly event that is really stranger than the others! You witness a burlesque going hand in hand with an eclectic array of gypsy dancing music.
Yesterday's party took place at The Miller Bar at London Bridge. DJ-s - London based Kobayashi, Sacha Dieu and the others lifted us up and made us dancing, shaking, whirling and twhirling all around the dance floor. Their tunes that stuffed up the venue and didn't allow you to stop from moving were coloured with feet itching gypsy dance rhythms, swing and french goodies all spiced with unforgettable festive tunes indispensable for a x-mas party.
DJ Kobayashi surprised us with a slovenian folk song that we couldn't believe we really heard it, but there it was »…cuk se je ozenil, tralala, sova ga je vzela, hopsasa…«.
Next Stranger than life Elixir Extravaganza is going to happen on New Year's eve at The Prince and Dex in Brixton. If you are around, this is a party you don't want to miss!

Thanks for the positive article!...Yes, we were great weren't we... ;-) but you forgot to mention the brilliant Sxip Shirey and his duet with Oren Marshall, plus Taraf de Haidouks' accordionist, Marius Manole jamming with everyone...unforgettable!
Sorry for forgotten names...next time I will be there the whole time and listen all:-)
