GJ PRESENTS: YUNGLEX

While some people are building walls between sometimes fraternal nations, we tend to pull them down. This time with a sound attack from the Croatian-Serbian-Slovene jungle/drum'n'bass/hip-hop alliance. For your ears only we present you old friends Kingstoned Sound, one of the hottest Serbian DJ's Rahmanee and yours truly W.G. (My Hell Jackson).

Selecta J.J., Popay MC & DJ Jungl!st & DJ Verbal from legendary Kingstoned Sound are preparing a reggae, dancehall, jungle explosion. Beware of adictice dance rhythms!

DJ Rahmanee is one of the most wanted Serbian jungle/drum'n'bass DJ's at the moment. His last piece, remix of the song Buđav lebac, from the Serbian group SARS, has already became a hit all over the Balkans. It's time Slovenia hears him live as well!

GJ REPORT: ALWAYS EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED

The short Shazalakazoo visit in Slovenia is over and it was fun as always. Gromka was jumping since the moment it's gates oppened. We haven't heard so many delighted screams in a long time. Nore seen such good dancing... Well, you should've been there....
Next day the caravan moved to Maribor, for a Maribor Electronic Destination Festival. It was very nice, well all but one thing. The lack of electricity, which hit Dvorana Gustaf just when the party was supposed to start. It did really start an hour or two later, thanks to the enthusiastic festival organisers from Kibla, who somehow managed to restore the power. Interesting evening all in all!

GIPSY JUNGLE IS GETTING READY FOR DOUBLE EDITION OF SHAZALAKAZOO

Just a reminder of the two up-coming concerts of serbian duo Shazalakazoo. Tomorrow in Ljubljana, on Friday in Maribor, they are going to present us with fresh material, which is soon to see light in the shape of an album called Speaking Balkanian.

GIPSY JUNGLE PRESENTS: LET'S DANCE!

We have became quite fond of Čupiterija, a bar with excellent chupitos, jummy free tapas and some strange objects hanging from their ceiling (cow for example). And what is most important, we like the crew!
That's why, we've decided to just hang around...as long as they tolerate us. And we especially like to do it at the weekends. For example tomorrow...Here is a bit of info about the next few up-coming events... Hasta luego amigos!

friday night party with the hottest soundS from the Latin underground by lovely Luna Morado...Sway and shake it while Luna plays those wicked reggaeton, dub, flamenco, cumbia, salsa, rumba, reggae & ska rhythms!

Friday, 13.2. FRIDAY 13TH WITH BURNING ELZA
A manager (Picikato brass band - Macedonia), a director and a producer, a girl of seducing figure and enviable music knowledge...all of that is Elza, our guest DJane from Zagreb. She will set the roof on fire with her burn the roof with her world, dub, break beat, jungle and of course gypsy rhythms...sounds so hot, they literaly burn...Elzas appartement for example. What better way to spend Friday the 13th, than in the company of good music and Burning Elza.

Saturday, 14.2. JAH WIBES WITH SELECTA BABA-K
Best reggae and dancehall music party around with DJ Baba-K. Baba-K is a Nigerian born but lives in Slovenia for quite a few years now, making our feet move to the sound of his groove. He has perfomed in manny of Slovene clubs, was three times a guest at the Soča River Splash Festival and just returned from the succesfull DJ premiere in Wienna.
So come for your dosage of those happy and sunny reggae music! Jah bless you!

GIPSY JUNGLE PRESENTS: ČEFURJI, RAUS!

It is going to be an eager battle between fried bulls testicles and čevapi. Between polka and kolo.... And it is not ment for you to take us too serious.
It's not, that we wouldn't be tolerant. Au contraire! All races and faces are more than welcome to join us on one of the two Shazalakazoo concerts in Slovenia.
One will take place in Gromka in Ljubljana and the other one in Gustaf Maribor (MED festival).
Get a taste of it, and an explanation of the word Shazalakazoo in our concert trailer (hope you understand a little bit of Serbian).
We also have to mention, you will be able to buy the much discussed Goran Vojnović book Čefurji raus in Gromka....
And for the first time in history Shazalakazoo will be accopanied by Špeglars Vj's feat. Oko sokolovo...
