GJ RECOMMENDS: DRUM'N'ZEZ HIT THE POOL
Last March a bunch of crazy Serbian visited Slovenia and took it by storm with it's lively Panonian surf-pop or agro-reggae as they like to call their music. And guess what, Drum'n'zez is back! Actually, will be back soon! This time, they will entertain us with their happy and sunny music at Izbruhov bazen in Kranj. So, what does it sound like? Like reggae, ska, surf, pop, rock, dub and some world music sounds.
They have first came together in 1997 and used to play on the banks of the river Danube. Ten years later, the group published it's first album Iz slane vode. The band appeared at manny festivals (Bitola open city, Pula Seasplash, Exit), but the commercial breaketrough happened in 2008, when Drum'n'zez took place in the Serbian Eurovision contest. The band did not win, but got a lot of publicity as well as the label, which was ready to publish band's last album Dunava ukus.
As the guys say (and we believe them), they have a recipe for love and you. Looking forward for them to share it with us once again!
