It's always a good moment for some sweet jazz. We had an opportunity to listen to some quality music a few days ago in KUD-u France Prešeren. Saxophone player Andrej Vernik Vero and Marko Petrušič Petko on the piano, also known as duo Blue train were spoiling us with some of their own material as well as some jazz classics. Since John Coltrane was the inspiration for this duet, we heard a couple of his songs, such as Equinox and Naima. Marko Petrušič also contributed some of his own material: Slow Blues, Waltzing moon and The law of 2. You can hear the last two songs on the fresh album Underground. The guests of the concert got it for free, everybody else has to find it in KUD or other stores. We're enclosing two little videos for you to get the idea. Never mind the poor quality. For the detailed thoughts about the music, inspirations and the roots of jazz listen to the interview with the duo Blue train recorded in KUD by Nina Zagoričnik.
