One of the highlights for the Gipsy music lovers of the summer in our region was certainly Guča na Krasu. This three day event hosted some of the best musicians in the business. Our favourite came at the very last day. Boban and Marko Marković and Orkestar Dejana Lazarevića bombed us with whole lot of high quality sounds. Although the supporting crowd was the smallest, the two excellent bands raised far the most dust in Briščiki. The star of the first evening was the master of recycling and, we have to admit, good concerts Goran Bregović with his Weddings and Funerals Band. A party with DJ Gaetano Fabri followed. Unfortunately, he was the only DJ with a whole set on the festivals, since all the other had to finish just minutes after starting becouse of presumable late hour. It was late for the organisers maybe, not for the partying crowd. On Saturday Shantel & Bucovina Club Orchestra dominated the stage. They provided an energetic show, which took the crowd by storm. All in all very nice three days, for even nicer price. The tickets for a three day festival with eight bands and three DJ's performing costed only 25 €. A good tip for other organisers - prepare a good programme and stick a good price to it and people will come. Again and again!
