It smells like spring, but the nights are still winter cold. That's why Winter edition of Guča na Krasu will raise the temperature on Saturday. The first announced date was blown away by strong wind, but this time the forecast is Balkan rhythms lovers friendly. What to expect? Appearance of Magnifico and Turbolenza and Macedonian brass band Kočani Orkestar. There will also be two tents with DJ sets. One with (not really worth mentioning) turbo folk rhythms. The second on the other hand will ensure much more quality entertainment with the Balkanbeat Trieste Team (DJ Stoner and DJ Cocodub). Zoom, zoom, zoom in Briščiki ;)

Tomorrow is the night! Boban and Marko Marković and their brass band are coming to town! And some of you will see the concert for free! The lucky winners of our little competition are Tamara Ilić and Melita Gulja. Congratulations! Hope to see all of the other Gipsy music lovers there also. WIN A FREE TICKET FOR BOBAN AND MARKO MARKOVIĆ CONCERT
After long droughty months one of the top brass bands is coming to town. Boban and Marko Marković Orkestar (Serbia) are among the best brass bands in the world, and have a bunch of awards to prove it. Last year theythey fascinated audiences worldwide with the Balkan Brass Battle project, within which they colaborated with another legends Fanfare Ciocarlia (Romania). Marko, who is getting better and better in the role of band leader also participated with Dubioza Kolektiv (BiH) for the song Balkan Funk. His co-operation with German producer, musician and DJ Shantel is also well known. At the up-coming concert in Kino Šiška masters of trumpets plan to present new material, but certainly won't skip some of their many evergreens. A concert not to be missed! And with a little effort and luck, you can win a free ticket. All you have to send us the names of three artists Marko and Boban have co-operated with on info@gipsyjungle.com.
